The National University Hospital (Singapore) PTE LTD seeks a skilled and compassionate Senior Patient Care Coordinator to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating bed allocation services and administrative duties in the Bed Management Unit (BMU). You will work closely with wards and other departments to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate ward placement of all patients entering or within the hospital.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing bed allocation services and administrative support to the BMU team;
  • Performing bed allocation duties with SAP and other systems, ensuring compliance with established rules and priorities;
  • Coordinating patient movement with wards and other departments based on bed status;
  • Responding to phone calls and handling bed enquiries and requests;
  • Assisting in the preparation of management reports and providing statistics as required;
  • Supporting the development of ad-hoc reports and statistics;
  • Offering emotional support and helping patients cope with their illnesses.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in any discipline;
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in healthcare, preferably with experience in bed management;
  • Proficiency in essential software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently;
  • Comfortable working shift hours.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of SGD $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical insurance, retirement plan, and annual leave.
