You will also be responsible for managing stakeholders, including procurement practitioners and management, to build procurement awareness and achieve high performance in controls and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing procurement strategies to achieve cost-effective results
* Continuously reviewing and improving policies, processes, and systems to enhance governance, results, and operational efficiencies in procurement
* Conducting deep dives into spend analytics to identify efficiency opportunities
* Enhancing procurement literacy and upholding procurement competencies of officers conducting procurement in CAAS

Requirements:

* At least 5 years of relevant experience
* Prior experience in government procurement is advantageous
* Keen interest in governance, processes, systems, analytics, and policy development
* Strong thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Independent, proactive, persuasive, impactful, and resourceful
* Able to focus on priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
