Marine Construction Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of our marine construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, coordination, and supervision of marine construction activities. This will involve working closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise marine construction projects till completion.
  • Coordinate and monitor the reclamation work in the project and at the material supply source.
  • Liaise with client, other relevant authorities, consultants, and other external and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of the project.
  • Implement and monitor safety matters in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring good QA/QC at the project.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering.
  • Min 5 years' experience in Marine Construction and Civil Engineering works (preferably in reclamation, bund construction or dredging projects).
  • Familiarity with hydrographic surveys, marine traffic management, and offshore construction methodologies, and vessel works planning (e.g., anchoring, positioning).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and relevant construction planning / management software.
