
Senior Deal Negotiator

The role of a Senior Deal Negotiator involves facilitating complex deals across various teams, including Sales and Legal. You will be responsible for guiding the Sales team in structuring and documenting these deals, ensuring that they align with company policies and objectives.
- You will serve as the primary advisor to the sales team on deal-related matters, providing expertise on guidelines, policies, and alternative contract options.
- Establish trusted working relationships with stakeholder teams impacted by non-standard or complex deals, including Sales Operations, Product Management, and Consulting.
- Schedule and lead internal meetings to support the deal development lifecycle, ensuring timely progress reviews, deal design sessions, and stakeholder approval discussions.
- Leverage deal management frameworks to enforce corporate policies and systems usage, ensuring best deal outcomes.
- Promote negotiation skills to close deals that align with established guidelines.
- Draft and review business terms for non-standard agreements to ensure compliance with corporate policies and approval framework.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deal practices are documented, optimized, communicated, and adhered to.
- IDentify education opportunities and deliver enablement targeted at sales to augment documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating deal or agreement reviews and approvals by stakeholders using defined processes and systems.
- Documenting final contract summaries and price justifications for senior management.
- Enforcing the corporate approval framework and associated policies.
- Serving as a point of contact for support to enable sales and facilitate efficient deal throughput.
- Managing and troubleshooting the escalation process.
- Performing DocuSign oversight for required signatures.
- Experience in a rapidly changing, deadline-based position involving daily interaction with multiple levels of management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of management.
- Proven skills in negotiation, analysis, logic, problem-solving, crisis management, and leadership.
- Familiarity with sales operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition, legal contracts, purchase orders, and license agreements.
- Comfortable handling multiple urgent tasks, projects, and relationships under pressure.
- Ability to work quickly and thoroughly under changing conditions and timelines.
- Excellent presentation skills, detail-oriented and motivated.
