We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the outstanding quality of our products.
This is a senior-level position that requires extensive knowledge and experience in quality assurance, with a focus on product development and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate product structure and design to meet safety and functional requirements throughout the whole development process.
- Review current processes to ensure continuous improvement and drive cross-functional projects to optimize processes.
- Drive big incidence investigations to ensure root causes are identified and countermeasures are implemented using proper problem-solving tools.
- Initiate Q-Test plans for high-complexity elements to ensure risks are identified with DFM when production begins.
- Define test methods in the development stage and ensure suppliers conduct tests accordingly.
- Conduct production pilot runs at vendors' plants, evaluate, and qualify manufacturing processes.
- Take ownership of learning and developing professional skills by proactively improving areas of responsibility, seeking improvements in daily work, and transforming functional knowledge into tangible results.
- Support supplier quality management, including supplier audits, customer claim handling.
- Identify visual quality according to LEGO error definitions and VQG guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Requirements- Proven working experience in quality assurance or quality engineering in plastic/injection moulding industries with relevant education backgrounds.
- Strong quality mindset to ensure never compromising on quality.
- Expertise in plastic materials, moulding, or related processes is preferred, with experience in toy industries an advantage.
- Knowledge in applying APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA is necessary.
- Supplier quality development and management experience in Thailand preferred.
- Project management skills, good oral and written communication skills.
- Data science skills requested for performance analysis and risk indication.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) required; proficiency in Mandarin a plus to work with stakeholders from China.
