Environmental Safety Manager

As a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety Professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures. Your role will also involve conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
You will collaborate closely with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and authorities to promote a safety culture. Additionally, you will facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and EHS training programs to raise awareness and promote a proactive safety mindset.
Furthermore, you will ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all EHS records, permits, licenses, and certifications. This includes monitoring environmental aspects and ensuring compliance with waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
Requirements- A degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- You should have at least 5 years of EHS experience at a managerial level, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit requirements is essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are necessary to engage with various stakeholders, including project teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools is also required.
- Ability to multitask under pressure and respond effectively during site emergencies is crucial.
