Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care and Support Specialist to join our team. As a Care and Support Specialist, you will provide essential care and support services to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, meals, and medication.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as feeding, showering, toileting, elimination, and transfer.
  • Provide individual care assignments for clients, including designing activities and assisting with implementation.
  • Conduct mass group activities, individual, and small group activities as planned by clinicians or supervisors.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and clearing body discharges, waste disposal, biohazard waste, and sharps.
  • Drive clients safely to appointments and destinations, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain vehicles and premises clean and disinfected.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Reporting Officer.

Requirements:

  • WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or relevant certification in Healthcare.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with driving seniors and people with disabilities.
  • Vocational License.
  • Reliable team member with positive work attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to drive.
  • Patience and willingness to work with people with disabilities/dementia and their families.
