Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Import Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Air Import Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing inbound shipment instructions for seamless terminal clearance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of inbound shipments from receipt to delivery
  • Collaboration with vendors on shipment handling and delivery
  • Input and validation of shipment data in the system based on received alerts
  • Prior preparation of necessary documents prior to shipment arrival
  • Management of permit declarations and coordination of delivery schedules with the CS team
  • Coordination with Freight Forwarders to ensure cargo clearance to our warehouse
  • Maintenance of daily shipment logs and oversight of delivery orders
  • Processing and updating of Proof of Delivery (POD), and notification of the CS team and system
  • Cargo inspections at inbound terminals as required
  • Assistance in interdepartmental projects and fulfillment of additional duties assigned by the Air Freight Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred
  • Familiarity with Incoterms advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Open to candidates without relevant experience; training will be provided
