Job Title: Main Contractor Supervisor

About the Role:

This position is for a skilled and experienced supervisor to oversee various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.


Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Attend daily site meetings and conduct weekly safety audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical support and guidance to team members, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and monitoring to ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the project team, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, using skills and experience to find solutions that meet project needs.
  • Skills Development: Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and knowledge, and provide feedback to improve performance.

Requirements:
  • Background: 3+ years of experience in a construction or related field, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Education: Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Certifications: Valid working at height certificate, lifting supervisor certificate, and confine space certificate.
  • Work Environment: Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday - 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
