Temporary Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Executive to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll services, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, claims, and other related tasks for government agencies using SAP systems. This includes ensuring accuracy and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll, including payment of salary, annual increment, bonus, allowances, and statutory contributions
- Perform manual computations of overpayment cases and ensure recoveries are promptly followed up
- Process Journals and Payment Vouchers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Exercise independent analysis and judgement according to SOPs and recommend course of action when responding to Service Partners
- Provide excellent customer service and timely response to service partners to address their queries
- Conduct independent reviews of work processes and systems and recommend possible improvements to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Diploma holder or higher
- 1-2 years of payroll or claims processing experience preferred; candidates without relevant experience but with a good attitude and willingness to learn welcome to apply
- Preferred Course of Studies in Business Administration, Human Resource, Accountancy, or Finance
Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within stipulated timelines
- Effective oral and written communication with good presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
- Logical and critical thinking abilities
- IT savvy with excellent grasp of Microsoft Office and current technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other tools
Working Hours:
- 5 days a week (Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Friday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm)
- Lunch break: 1 hour
