Department Leader

As a Department Leader, you will spearhead instructional leadership and student development initiatives within the school. Your key responsibilities include setting departmental vision and goals, designing tailored curriculum and pedagogy, and monitoring instructional effectiveness and student progress.

You will be expected to champion integration of individualized education plans into lesson planning, lead character-building and social-emotional development initiatives, and collaborate with healthcare professionals and families for improved outcomes.

Required qualifications include a diploma in special education and at least 5 years of experience in special education, including 2 years in a senior/leadership role. You must have proven ability to lead teams, drive instructional excellence, and manage change, as well as deep understanding of SPED curriculum, pedagogy, and student development.

A leader who models the mission framework and serving leadership principles is essential for this role.
