Electrical Works Package Manager Job Overview

This senior leadership role involves delivering large-scale electrical works projects within the life science sector, focusing on highly regulated pharmaceutical construction environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, local codes, and client specifications while managing contractors and design coordination.
  • Supervise electrical contractors to ensure high-quality installations aligned with pharma-grade standards.
  • Maintain rigorous site and test records in compliance with Client requirements, Building Control Act, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct inspections, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the electrical package including LV/MV distribution, cleanroom power systems, lighting, fire alarms, and ELV systems.
  • Coordinate specialist design support services and ensure seamless integration with other disciplines (CSA, HVAC, Process Utilities).

Requirements:

  • Recognized degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 7–10 years of experience in electrical design and construction, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects under pressure and deliver results
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and client-facing skills
  • Familiarity with cleanroom electrical standards, validation protocols, and authority submission processes
