Job Title: Enterprise Storage Specialist

Sopra Steria is a leading tech company specializing in Consulting, Digital Services, and Software.

We are looking for an Enterprise Storage Specialist to assist one of our clients – a global investment bank.

The candidate will work as a member of the APAC IT Storage team to manage storage-related projects and provide level 3 operational support in APAC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Management
    • Support projects in APAC regions managed by the APAC storage team.
    • Maintain configuration standards and design guidelines for storage systems, management systems, and required software.
    • Provide technical assistance to deployment teams.
    • Maintain, adhere to, and improve standard operating procedures followed in the bank.
    • Perform storage resource allocations and migrations when required, complying with the process.
  • Business Relationships
    • Communicate with APS, business, and other ITP teams during different project stages.
  • Governance
    • Support storage vulnerability, baseline checking, and storage hardening.
    • Produce health-check/dashboard/security compliance report as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills:
    • Minimum 5 years of system support experience on enterprise storage platforms.
    • Technical knowledge in EMC PMAX/VMAX & ECS, Pure storage, NetApp, Brocade switches, and CleverSafe.
    • Possess sound knowledge of storage hardware and system services (volume management operations, file system management, data migration, snapshot, and replication technologies, connectivity technology).
    • Good understanding of storage upgrade processes and hands-on experience in performing storage code upgrades.
  • Other Value-Added Competencies:
    • Fluent verbal and oral English communication skills.
    • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
  • Specific Qualifications Required:
    • SAN management at an intermediate to advanced level.
    • NAS management at an intermediate to advanced level.
    • Object storage management at an intermediate to advanced level.
    • ITIL foundation for service management.
