
Chief Competency Development Officer

Job Role:
Drive the development and implementation of a competency framework that aligns with organisational goals.
- Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate the governance framework for competency development, appointing leads for domain areas and conducting regular steering committee discussions.
- Set up an Academy Faculty team to deliver contextualised learning content with training providers.
- Work with in-house leads to establish the HealthTech Competency Framework for various healthcare, technical, and product domains.
- Determine competency requirements for professional groups at each seniority level, translated into recruitment, development, and appraisal interventions.
- Develop learning pathways for professional groups based on the competency framework.
- Design and implement flagship programmes using adult learning pedagogy and the established competency framework.
- Collaborate with Business Units to identify training needs, vendors, and support programme implementation.
- Conduct standup training or facilitation for in-house programmes.
- Design and run capability events to anchor a learning culture in the organisation.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who has a proven track record in developing and implementing competency-based learning frameworks. If you have the following skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Information and Communication Technologies.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing competency-based learning frameworks.
- Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance or other established learning and development certifications.
- Ability to handle intense workloads, set up systems, and project manage multiple workstreams.
- Good stakeholder management skills and enterprising mindset.
