Sustainability Leadership Position


About the Role:

This is a key position in our organization responsible for leading and implementing sustainability strategies across various environmental, social, and governance (ESG) pillars. The role involves spearheading company-wide initiatives to improve reporting practices, reduce the environmental footprint, and ensure alignment with global standards.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute company-wide sustainability strategies and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed sustainability into core business functions and operations.
  • Stay updated on global sustainability trends and advise the leadership team on implications and opportunities.
  • Evaluate current operations for opportunities to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
  • Lead initiatives in energy efficiency, carbon emissions reduction, waste minimization, and water conservation.
  • Promote a company-wide sustainability culture through employee engagement and education.
  • Oversee collection and validation of sustainability metrics.
  • Develop and maintain annual ESG/sustainability reports in line with global standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sustainability, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and environmental management systems.
  • Proven track record in implementing sustainability strategies and programs.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience in data analysis tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
