Risk Management Credit Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Solutions Specialist to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with senior credit specialists and relationship managers to structure optimal credit-based solutions for RBC Wealth Management Asia's high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients and align with RBC's risk appetite.
- Collaborate with senior credit specialists to assess lending requests and policy exceptions, and ensure that all credit decisions are made in accordance with RBC's policies and procedures.
- Work with the credit team to manage Lombard lending requests and expand into managing premium financing, mortgages, and structured lending deals.
- Ensure that the credit portfolio remains aligned with the wealth management business and risk strategies, and that all credit-related activities are conducted in accordance with RBC's policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the maintenance, review, and reporting of high-quality risk profiles of the portfolio.
- Assist with the enhancement of credit products and policies to meet the needs of clients and the business.
- Proactively monitor regulatory updates and changes that affect credit.
- Other credit-related projects as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in banking, preferably with credit or deposits experience.
- Basic product knowledge and understanding of wealth management business.
- Strong risk assessment and credit skills.
- Proficiency in spoken English is essential, as the role requires communication with international clients.
- A keen team player with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Banking and Finance, Business, or Accounting is a plus.
- Proficiency in other Asian languages, including Cantonese, Mandarin, or Bahasa, is a plus.
