Job Description

The role of a Senior Assistant Manager in Medical Education involves overseeing undergraduate school attachments with key stakeholders across different professions. This includes conducting Next Generation Electronic Medical Records training for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Posting Coordination and Administrative Support:
    • Manage the end-to-end process of student postings to ensure alignment with academic requirements, timelines, and institutional policies.
    • Coordinate posting schedules and necessary documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with department heads and clinical educators to enhance training methodologies and curricula.
  • Student Management:
    • Conduct basic Next Generation Electronic medical records training for students.
    • Guide students through the posting process, including briefing sessions, assessment requirements, and application processes.
  • Data and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of student postings and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Use data to track outcomes, identify trends, and suggest improvements to the posting program.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of posting systems and processes within the institution.
  • Other Roles:
    • Manage departmental administrative duties, including on-site support for teaching, minutes-taking for meetings, and running courses.
    • Involve in cluster-led committee and activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years' work experience in an administrative related role, preferably in an educational or healthcare institution.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior-level internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational ability and high attention to detail.
  • Able to set priorities, multitask, and be well-organized, meticulous, and thorough in monitoring projects and providing administrative support.
  • Willingness to adopt flexible work hours if needed.
  • Proficient in computer skills and MS applications.
