Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Peak Ocean PTE. LTD. as a Project Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the construction phase of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Project Quality Management: Lead the project quality management team to ensure that all quality-related activities are executed in accordance with the project quality plan.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development programs for production supervisors and sub-contractors' QC personnel to enhance their quality awareness and skills.
  • Procedure Development: Establish and maintain work procedures and instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency in quality-related activities.
  • Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on quality-related activities, including inspection status, quality audit results, and non-conformance reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of relevant working experience in quality assurance and control, including welding inspections, structural fabrication, and piping isometric drawing.
  • Certifications: Valid Welding Inspectors Certificates (AWS or CSWIP) and experience in handling project audits and liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Skills: Excellent written and communication skills, ability to interact with people of all levels, and strong teamwork skills.
