Job Title: Housekeeping Team Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, corridors, and service pantries according to established hotel standards.

  • Ensure that mini bars in guest rooms are fully stocked with an adequate supply of beverages and snacks.
  • Organize and replenish housekeeping carts and linen storage areas on designated floors with linens and amenities.
  • Collect soiled linens from floors and deliver them promptly to the proper department.
  • Assist with placement or removal of furniture, fittings, rollaway beds, and other items from guest rooms as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining a tidy environment by collecting rubbish from floors and disposing of it according to hotel guidelines.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete assigned paperwork, including updates on room status and duties.
  • Report any maintenance issues, such as carpet cleaning requirements or pest infestations, to the Housekeeping Coordinator.
  • Hand over lost and found items from guest rooms to the Security Department promptly.
  • Monitor and manage the housekeeping status within the 'Knowcross' system.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A primary education or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience working in a hotel is advantageous but not essential.
  • The ability to communicate and comprehend basic English language skills.
