Job Overview

The Housekeeping Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. As a key member of the housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and upkeep of guest rooms, corridors, and service pantries.


Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, and service pantries, adhering to hotel protocols.
  2. Ensure all guest rooms are fully replenished with amenities, linens, and supplies.
  3. Organize and maintain housekeeping trolleys and linen pantries on assigned floors.
  4. Collect and remove soiled linen from floors, following proper disposal procedures.
  5. Assist with the placement or removal of guest room items, including furniture and fittings.
  6. Dispose of rubbish in accordance with hotel standards.
  7. Accurately complete assigned paperwork, including room status updates and other documentation.
  8. Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Housekeeping Coordinator in a timely manner.
  9. Promptly hand over lost and found items from guest rooms to the Security Department.
  10. Monitor and manage housekeeping status within the 'Knowcross' system.
  11. Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Primary education or equivalent.
  • Prior hotel experience is preferred.
  • Basic English language skills, both written and spoken.
