Job Overview

This role is part of Careers@Gov's efforts to support the Jobseeker Support Scheme. As a Scheme Implementation and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth implementation of the scheme by reviewing end-to-end processes, monitoring key performance indicators, managing public communication, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage scheme applications, appeals, and exceptional cases.
  • Develop recommendations for appeal cases and collaborate with management to achieve consensus.
  • Conduct thorough checks on points accumulated through active job search conditions.
  • Verify supporting documents and maintain accurate records.
  • Cross-check information with external parties, including employers, medical institutions, CPF Board, and MSF, to ensure financial situations are accurately represented.
  • Maintain grant disbursements and track actual employment status via CPF contribution post-disbursement.
  • Foster engagement with physical touchpoints, such as MSF SSOs, e2i career centres, and Service SG centres, to provide valuable services to clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address queries and feedback in a timely and effective manner.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend solutions to enhance WSG's efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Monitor and track process indicators to inform decision-making and outcome monitoring.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A deep understanding of various government initiatives related to manpower and training.
  • Excellent engagement and time management skills, ideally gained from experience in account/project management and/or operational roles.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • An excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Data analytics skills would be advantageous in providing insights and informing decision-making.
  • The ability to synthesize information and data to drive informed decision-making and outcome monitoring.


Compensation and Benefits

We offer an estimated annual salary of SGD $55,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
