About the Role

We are looking for a Structured Finance Specialist to support our Corporate and Investment Bank businesses covering APAC, based in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for independent risk management oversight for Credit Risk, embedding the Group's Risk Management Framework within the Business Divisions and Infrastructure functions.

You will contribute to setting risk appetite for given risk types and monitor against it. Additionally, you will independently assess risks for complex or significant transactions, provide challenge and advisory at a senior level, and make decisions and approvals based on your allocated authority level.

Your responsibilities will also include reviewing the effectiveness of current frameworks and methodologies as they are used and collaborating with others to improve and develop these.

  1. Monitor counterparty performance by reviewing financial and operational reporting, confirming covenant compliance, and assessing industry trends.
  2. Assess new transactions, including interface with Front Office on new deal screenings and assessing credit risks related to operating environment, business strategy, financial profile, and management.
