Job Description
As a Product Development Director, you will be responsible for leading the development of prime brokerage products. Your primary focus will be on formulating medium and long-term development plans for financial products, based on the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategic Planning
- You will conduct in-depth research on industry dynamics, market trends, and user needs to provide strategic support for product direction.
- Product Design and Management
- Lead the overall design of financial products, including product architecture, functional modules, and core processes.
- Oversee product life cycle management from demand research and design to development and online operation, ensuring ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate with technical, operational, marketing, legal, and risk teams to ensure product compliance and implementation.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally to promote resource integration and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
- User Needs and Market Analysis
- Collect user feedback and market data to understand user needs and optimize user experience.
- Monitor industry competitor dynamics and provide product competitiveness analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Team Management
- Build and manage the financial product team and develop members' professional capabilities.
- Set team goals and monitor progress to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with risk control and legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and risk control standards.
- Develop and optimize risk control strategies to reduce potential risks in product operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above; preferred majors: finance, economics, computer science, or related fields.
- More than 8 years of relevant experience in payments or financial industry products, with more than 3 years in management.
- Familiar with wealth management and prime brokerage business models and product forms.
- Excellent strategic thinking and market insight with a deep understanding of industry development trends.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to think through business logic for complex project planning.
- Excellent communication, organization, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Familiar with relevant laws and regulations, with risk control and compliance mindset.
