Key Responsibilities
  1. Case Management:
  • Use evidence-based approaches and strategies to stabilize and regulate emotions of clients.
  • Implement behavior support management strategies to effectively manage challenging behaviors of clients.
  • Be trauma-informed in the management of cases.
  • Work with both young people and their family members.
  1. Community Resources and Partnerships:
  • Establish close working partnerships internally and externally to maximize community resources and support systems.
  1. Service Development:
  • Advocate and represent the rights, needs and welfare of Clients through official platforms to address service gaps, concerns or issues that will promote and enhance the service delivery for beneficiaries.
  1. Professional Growth:
  • Promote professional growth through identifying learning needs, transfer of skills and knowledge and offer training where appropriate.
  1. Administrative Tasks:
  • Complete all necessary documentation for all clients including admission forms, discharge summaries and other ongoing case records.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from a recognized university.
  • Accredited as Registered Social Worker with a relevant governing body.
  • At least 1-2 years in direct social work is preferred.
  • Experience in working with children and youths and their families.
