Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Team Supervisor to join our team at Trust Recruit Pte. Ltd.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role and guide a team of receptionists in delivering exceptional customer service. As a Reception Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the reception desk, ensuring smooth and professional service.

You will provide guidance, training, and mentoring to receptionists to ensure high standards of customer service. Your duties will also include assigning tasks, managing schedules, and overseeing the performance of the reception team.

In addition, you will handle conflicts or issues that arise with students, staff, or visitors and escalate to management when necessary. You will manage a team of part-timers, providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Assisting Visitors

Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

  • Addressing Customer Inquiries

Address customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone, and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.

  • Ensuring Smooth Operations

Ensure that all visitors are properly logged in and escorted as necessary.

  • Managing Front Desk Activities

Coordinate front desk activities, including distributing correspondence, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and processing deliveries.

  • Maintaining an Organized Reception Area

Maintain an organized and presentable reception area.

  • Providing Leadership and Supervision

Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to receptionists to ensure high standards of customer service.

  • Serving as a Liaison

Serve as a liaison between the reception team and management to relay any issues, concerns, or needs.

  • Monitoring and Ordering Office Supplies

Monitor and order office supplies, manage lost & found, booking of discussion rooms.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Customer Service or relevant field
  • Experience with front counter duties and customer service
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead position is preferred
  • Pleasant disposition, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in office management software (e.g., MS Office)
  • Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
  • Warm and approachable personality
  • Able to work well with diverse teams and handle conflicts effectively
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Prior relevant experience in education industry will be advantageous
  • Able to start work immediately is advantageous

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of SGD $4,500 - SGD $5,000 per month, depending on experience.
