Industrial Automation Specialist Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to cultivate and expand business opportunities in the industrial automation sector. This entails working closely with clients to comprehend their requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.

  • Cultivate new sales channels and expand customer networks across key industries, including semiconductors, automation/robotics, and food and beverage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales pipeline through CRM, from opportunity qualification to closure.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design bespoke solutions, prepare bills of materials, and deliver competitive quotations.
  • Nurture key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
  • Evaluate customer needs, support proof-of-concept projects, and actively promote new product introductions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Controls, or related fields.
  • Approximately 3 years' experience in technical sales applications of sensors, IO-Link, RFID, or related automation solutions.
