Our team is seeking a skilled Pouch Cell Development Engineer to join our innovative solid-state battery project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize pouch cells for solid-state battery applications, focusing on performance, safety, and manufacturability.
  • Lead the preparation of battery materials, including solid electrolytes and electrode components, utilizing solid-state synthesis techniques to achieve desired electrochemical properties.
  • Manage the assembly process of solid-state battery cells, identifying areas for improvement to enhance assembly quality and efficiency for both small and large-format cells.
  • Conduct comprehensive electrochemical evaluations of assembled cells, analyzing performance metrics and failure mechanisms to inform design improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results, preparing technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or a related field.
  • About 2 years of industrial experience in all-solid-state cell design, testing, data analysis, and failure mechanism analysis. Experience with pouch or prismatic cell formats is essential.
  • Proficiency in solid-state synthesis techniques, material characterization methods, and electrode/cell fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with electrochemical testing and analysis is required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to collective problem-solving efforts.
