Job Role:

Mizuho Bank invites you to join our Asia-Pacific Corporate Function Coordination Department as an Associate, Payment Area Business Analyst Lead. Your key roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team as a subject matter expert in managing remittance-related IT projects
  • Project management, including resolving user/system issues, managing vendors, resources, and project schedules
  • Facilitating system function and workflow design
  • Gathering user and business requirements and performing gap analysis
  • Establishing and introducing new work procedures and/or workarounds
  • Providing training to local and overseas users
  • Supporting user acceptance testing
  • Conducting studies to analyze system effectiveness
  • Liaising with end-users, vendors, and head office in migration and other project tasks
  • Assisting in preparing system and operation manuals
  • Preparing reports for management and head office when required
Key Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of back-office experience in the remittance area
  • Prior experience in implementing package systems (Finastra) is advantageous
  • Experience in handling full remittance operations, including inward and outward remittances, drawback remittances, domestic RTGS, giro, foreign exchange, etc.
  • Experience in collecting business requirements and standardizing workflows across different entities
  • A meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise, and extensive requirement documentation
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in creating both BRD and FRD
  • Experience in data mapping, data cleansing, providing migration support, and data reconciliation
  • A Bachelor's degree preferably majoring in science or IT
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong team player preferably with experience in leading a team
  • Sound knowledge in business process management (BPM)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to undertake travel within the APAC region
  • Knowledge in MS Access/RPA programming is advantageous
  • Academic experience/certificates mentioned below are advantageous
  • IIBA
  • Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
  • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Agile Analysis Certification (AAC)
  • PMI
