Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the architectural industry, exceptional communication skills, and a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Inception: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives.
  • Project Briefs: Develop and progress project briefs as the project evolves.
  • Planning Applications: Pursue planning applications and regulatory approvals.
  • Design Proposals: Create design proposals utilising computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional methods.
  • Detailed Design: Support detailed design processes and coordinate design information.
  • Tender Documentation: Prepare and update tender documentation and construction drawings.
  • Statutory Approvals: Foster relationships with relevant authorities to secure statutory approval.
  • Site Visits: Attend site visits and document discussions.
  • Site Issues: Assist the project architect in resolving site issues.
  • Specifications: Produce and analyse detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes.
  • Design Impact: Understand how design aspects impact performance and functionality, addressing questions early on.
  • Design Coordination: Maintain detailed design coordination and liaison with consultants.
  • Procurement Strategies: Advise clients on procurement strategies for optimal contracts.
  • Tender Documentation: Lead preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings.
  • Contract Administration: Support contract administration and project certification.
  • Client Feedback: Obtain client feedback on work in progress and finished results.
  • Site Monitoring: Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve problems arising during the building/construction phase.
  • Defect Inspections: Perform defect inspections.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong portfolio.
