Tour Consultant Role

Our company is seeking an experienced and skilled Tour Consultant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working with clients and assisting them in planning their travel arrangements.

This role involves conducting research on various travel options, including destinations, transportation, accommodations, tours and attractions. You will be responsible for booking travel arrangements such as tours, flights, cruises, coaches, rental cars and accommodations.

You will also provide guidance to clients on travel-related matters like visas, insurance, and health requirements. Additionally, you will craft customized itineraries based on client preferences and budget constraints.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences. You will also be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English and Mandarin. You should also have strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

If you have certification or training in travel planning, preferably a degree or diploma in travel and tourism, or relevant work experience, we would love to hear from you. Your proficiency in using computer reservations systems (CRS) like Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo is also essential.

As a Tour Consultant, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will also have the flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and Public Holidays. In addition, you will be required to lead tours overseas as a tour leader.
