Senior Kitchen Professional

We are seeking a skilled Senior Kitchen Professional to join our team. This role requires a highly experienced cook who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality food products.

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to manage kitchen staff, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior cook to take on a leadership role within our kitchen team. As a Senior Kitchen Professional, you will be responsible for:

  1. Managing and supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
  2. Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  3. Controlling inventory levels, minimizing waste, and optimizing stock levels.
  4. Developing and implementing new recipes, menu items, and cooking techniques to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
  5. Collaborating with the kitchen team to achieve business objectives, including maintaining budgets, meeting deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Cooking food to order, ensuring it is prepared to a high standard and presented attractively.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Managing kitchen equipment, tools, and supplies, reporting any issues or maintenance requirements to the kitchen manager.
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve business objectives, share knowledge, and support each other's development.
  • Participating in menu planning, recipe development, and culinary training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
