About the Role
The Vice President, Accounts Payable, Group Finance will play a key role in driving financial excellence and efficiency across the organization. Reporting directly to the Group Finance leadership, this individual will oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and providing strategic guidance to the AP team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the AP team in the development and implementation of process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and established policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring the integrity of financial data and processes.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure AP team performance, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
- Provide expert guidance on financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Work closely with the AP team to resolve complex issues, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance, with a strong background in accounts payable and financial operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, with experience in implementing process improvements and mitigating operational risks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and drive business decisions.
