Job Summary:
">This role oversees the maintenance and operation of facilities, grounds, and equipment, ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and legal requirements.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Manage building, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure to meet operational and safety standards;
- Analyze and act on energy monitoring data to optimize resource utilization;
- Develop and maintain an energy strategy aligned with legislative, environmental, and cost demands;
- Oversee facility-related contracts and service agreements;
- Coordinate facility maintenance and repair schedules with senior management;
- Manage the facility management budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational standards;
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies, coordinating necessary actions to resolve issues;
- Collaborate with internal teams to support upgrades, renovations, and expansions;
- Ensure all interior and exterior paint work meets regulations and quality expectations;
- Determine needs and obtain required tooling and equipment for paint shops;
- Provide technical guidance on complex issues.
Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent highly preferred;
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within an Aviation Services facility;
- Experience in aircraft or automotive painting;
- Able to read and interpret drawings and diagrams for paint;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Planning and organizational skills to coordinate workload around multiple assignments;
- Computer skills to learn and operate work processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, email, and web-based applications.
