Pricing Director Position

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Director to lead our pricing optimization initiatives across both existing and new business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering revenue/margin improvements through data-driven pricing strategies.

This role is responsible for driving pricing optimization across various customer segments, channels, and geographic markets. The successful candidate will have advanced analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with pricing analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive backbook analysis to identify underpriced customers and revenue leakage
  • Develop and execute systematic price increase strategies for existing customers
  • Segment existing customers by profitability, retention risk, and price sensitivity
  • Design renewal pricing strategies to maximize customer lifetime value while minimizing churn
  • Implement price optimization algorithms for contract renewals and repricing cycles
  • Develop communication strategies for price increase rollouts
  • Establish competitive frontbook pricing that captures maximum market value
  • Develop value-based pricing models for new customer acquisition
  • Create dynamic pricing frameworks that respond to market conditions and demand signals
  • Design promotional pricing strategies that drive acquisition without eroding long-term value
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial finance
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue/margin improvements through pricing strategies
  • Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and pricing analytics tools
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance growth and profitability objectives
