Facilities Specialist

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Facilities Specialist to oversee the maintenance and operations of building services, ensuring seamless delivery of essential systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of building services such as fire protection, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance and reduce downtime.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Building Services/Management) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, preferably in an international school environment.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, alternate Saturdays, 8am to 12pm.
