Marine Electrical System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Singapore. The role involves providing technical support and maintenance for marine equipment and systems.
Job Scope- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, as well as repair electrical systems and components onboard marine vessels.
- Handle electrical panel wiring and machine cable routing.
- Perform workshop-based testing and calibration of equipment.
- Coordinate and supervise external vendors or contractors when required.
- Assist ship crew and Superintendent in identifying and ordering the correct spare parts.
- Compile and submit detailed service reports upon completion of tasks.
- Possess at least a ITE or Diploma in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics engineering.
- Skilled in reading and understanding electrical circuit diagrams.
- Solid knowledge of shipboard electrical systems including:
- Engine monitoring and control systems
- Ballast Water Treatment Systems
- Flexible to work on short notice, including night time, weekends and public holidays.
- Able to carry out tasks both at anchorage and in shipyards, Physically fit to board vessels frequently.
- Comfortable adapting to diverse and evolving work environments.
- Motivated to learn and develop new product knowledge and technical expertise.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Able to manage interactions and situations with ship crew efficiently.
