This senior leadership role oversees the effective management of three nursing homes, providing care to approximately 600 residents. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure delivery of high-quality care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of three nursing homes, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient facility management.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to drive excellence in care delivery.
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements and standards, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Manage budgets and financial planning, focusing on cost control measures to optimise resources.
- Prioritise resident care, ensuring all individuals receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets their unique needs.
- Evaluate and monitor resident care plans, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal outcomes.
- Respond promptly and effectively to resident and family concerns, fostering a positive relationship between residents, families, and staff.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff alike.
- Recruit, train, and manage nursing home staff, including administrative, nursing, and support personnel.
- Implement staff development programs to enhance knowledge and skills, driving best practices in care delivery.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and development.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
- Collaborate with the Group Director of Healthcare Services to develop and execute strategic plans, driving innovation and improvement in service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for growth and enhancement, developing initiatives to improve resident satisfaction and care outcomes.
- Sustain leadership continuity across nursing homes, ensuring seamless transition and consistent quality.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, promoting adherence to best practices and driving continuous improvement.
- Analyse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the primary liaison between nursing homes and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
- Represent the nursing homes in community events and professional organisations, promoting a positive image and reputation.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple facilities.
Key qualifications include strong leadership and management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, proficiency in financial management and budget planning, ability to develop and implement strategic plans, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, commitment to high-quality resident care and continuous improvement.
