Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Quality Specialist to join our team at NB RESOURCES PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing project quality plans and inspection test plans according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing welding procedure specifications and conducting welder qualification tests. Additionally, they will be able to prepare quality control procedures and repair procedures for welding.

The role involves conducting stage-wise inspections of material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works. The specialist will also review and witness non-destructive testing such as ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing.

The position requires strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with project managers/engineers for day-to-day inspection activities at the shop/site. The successful candidate will attend weekly meetings and coordinate with clients, while also liaising with client inspectors/third-party inspectors.

The Project Quality Specialist will maintain good documentation for all projects on hand. They will assist project teams on QC-related issues and attend monthly safety committee meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of project quality planning and inspection
* Experience in welding procedure specification preparation and welder qualification testing
* Ability to conduct quality control procedures and repair procedures for welding
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
