Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Oversee daily purchasing operations, including planning, logistics coordination, and supplier engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to address purchasing needs and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
  • Evaluate and recommend suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by the Manager.

Purchasing Process:

  1. Source competitive quotations and gather product samples in accordance with operational requirements and quality standards.
  2. Foster and maintain strong, professional relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and long-term collaboration.
  3. Ensure full compliance with company's procurement policies and procedures at all times.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
