We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Operations Manager to join our team at The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited. As an Insurance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our claim handling process.
Job Description- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of policyholders' and distribution representatives' claims-related issues
- Support the Claim Team in resolving appeals, feedbacks, and complaints received via email
- Assist in escalating higher-level complaints to Managers and immediate supervisors
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to safeguard the company
- Highlight potential concerns/risks and share best risk management practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve operational effectiveness and customer experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., insurance, business, or related)
- Professional certification in insurance (e.g., M9, M5, CHI, BCP, PGI) is an added advantage
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in complaint handling or a related field
- Experience in the insurance industry with claim knowledge would be advantageous
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Good listening skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage stress effectively
- Meticulous and quality service-oriented approach
- A competitive salary of SGD 60,000 - 80,000 per annum
