Job Title

Fuel Oil Operator

  • Role and Responsibilities: As a Fuel Oil Operator, you will work closely with traders to ensure the efficient execution of all cargo and shipping operations related to fuel oil.
  • Key Responsibilities include timely and accurate communication of cargo nominations to terminals, shipowners, and counterparties, minimizing delays and ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. The role requires constant coordination with storage terminals and vessel operators to monitor loading and discharge operations, troubleshoot issues in real time, and ensure operations proceed according to plan.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Maritime Studies or a related field with a minimum of 2 years' experience in petroleum product operations.

  • Required skills: Cargo Operations, Shipping Logistics, Inventory Management. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Important skills: Trade Finance, Invoicing, Compliance.
