Backend Engineer Position

The Platform Insights team aims to deliver a unified data event platform that allows users to query, visualize, and analyze their data to optimize workflows.

We strive to create a consistent dashboard experience that makes it easy for users to ask pertinent questions and build rich, use-case-specific views.

The unified event platform will consume data from all stages, enabling users to monitor the health of their teams, processes, and services in a single view.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong background in high-scale and data-rich Golang applications, as well as familiarity with distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.


Some examples of our projects include:
  • Developing high-scale data pipelines leveraging Golang.
  • Collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Writing code that meets standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for high-scale web environments.
  • Maintaining and advocating for these standards through code review.
  • Working with other teams to integrate monitoring and insights features into their products.

What You'll Bring
  • Professional experience with Golang and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong database experience and interest in developing expertise in ClickHouse databases.
  • Experience with large-scale platforms or complex applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or internal tooling.
  • Knowledge of distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.
