Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Publishing Product Management is responsible for leading publishing efforts and community engagement in locally served countries and languages within the Asia-Pacific region.

This role involves developing subregional strategies aligned with regional and global priorities, focusing on product ecosystems, community engagement, and market trends.

Key responsibilities include representing the region in ecosystem-level conversations to ensure regional needs are addressed, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize regional needs in global decision-making, identifying risks in regional projects and providing cultural and market expertise for alignment with global strategies.

Additionally, this role involves leading a high-performing team, recruiting and mentoring members to foster a diverse and growth-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in game publishing or a similar field, leading regional teams to deliver on product, marketing, and ecosystem goals.
  • 5+ years of management experience in gaming, sports, or media industries.
  • Significant experience launching or scaling game products across different regions or markets.
  • Deep understanding of cultural nuances and regional market trends, with the ability to advocate for local needs in global decision-making.
  • Proven project management skills, ensuring alignment with global goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across geographies.
  • Effective resource allocation and financial performance tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in business or a related field.
  • Multilingual capabilities relevant to the subregions.
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation abilities.
  • Expertise in the fighting game genre, including market dynamics and player communities.
