As a key member of our business operations team, this critical role plays a vital part in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization.

The Credit and Collections Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough credit analysis on new and existing accounts, effectively managing credit lines to align with company policies and goals. This involves:

  • Strategically forecasting receipt timing and proactively following up with customers to confirm payment status, ensuring seamless cash flow management.
  • Resolving outstanding disputes and issues to meet monthly and quarterly collection targets, thereby driving revenue growth and minimizing losses.
  • Reviewing and releasing near-term orders on credit hold, promptly addressing any discrepancies or concerns.
  • Adjusting and reallocating credit lines based on fluctuations in backlog and customer payment history, guaranteeing timely and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales Operations, Logistics, Legal, and Accounting teams to resolve complex credit and collection issues, fostering a culture of open communication and cooperation.
  • Monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable balances over 30 days past due, providing actionable insights for informed business decisions.
  • Working closely with the AR team on payment applications and month-end reporting, including potential bad debt reserves, to ensure accurate and compliant financial records.
  • Supporting AR audit confirmations and periodic internal control activity testing, maintaining stringent compliance standards and robust controls.
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects and system enhancement initiatives, contributing innovative ideas and expertise to drive process improvements.

For this role, we seek a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and at least three years' experience in commercial collections. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, as is experience with Oracle or other major ERP systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for success in this position, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with credit bureau reports is advantageous but not mandatory.
