Financial Credit Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Financial Credit Analyst to fill this role.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough credit analyses on new and existing accounts, establishing and maintaining credit lines in accordance with company policy.

This includes:

  • Conducting detailed credit assessments on new and existing accounts to determine creditworthiness.
  • Establishing and managing credit lines in line with company guidelines, ensuring timely payment from customers.
  • Forecasting the timing of expected receipts and proactively following up with customers to confirm payment status.
  • Resolving outstanding disputes/issues to meet monthly and quarterly collection targets.
  • Reviewing and releasing near-term orders on credit hold.
  • Adjusting and reallocating credit lines based on backlog fluctuations and customer payment history.
  • Collaborating with various teams to resolve credit and collection issues.
  • Monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable balances over 30 days past due.
  • Working with the AR team on payment applications and month-end reporting, including potential bad debt reserves.
  • Supporting AR audit confirmations and periodic internal control activity testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial collections, preferably in an MNC environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle or other major ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with credit bureau reports is advantageous.
