The Event Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth for the company, focusing on MICE services. This key position involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong customer relationships.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to drive revenue growth
- Build a robust pipeline of prospective customers and ensure consistent sales conversions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
- Foster relationships with corporate, association, and private sector customers
- Identify emerging market trends and expand the customer base
- Partner with senior management to develop targeted sponsorship strategies
- Cultivate long-term relationships with high-value clients and ensure satisfaction
- Lead negotiations and finalize contracts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
- Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and follow-up
- Develop and present tailored event proposals
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Work with the marketing team to design sales campaigns
- Report on sales performance to senior management
- Manage sales budgets and recommend new sales techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event sales, business development, or corporate sales
- Proven track record as an independent sales professional
- Strong background in the MICE industry or hospitality sector
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
