Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on complex matters, drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, and representing the organization in legal proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on complex matters
  • Draft and review contracts and legal documents
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings
  • Work closely with other teams to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified under the Legal Profession Act with a Law degree
  • 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house legal counsel
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Desired Skills:
  • Prior prosecution experience
  • Familiarity with regulatory and enforcement matters
  • Ability to engage in policy and legislation analysis and contribute to legislative drafting
  • Confidence in conducting educational sessions and supporting innovative legal projects
