Job Title: Commercial Contract Manager
A highly skilled Commercial Contract Manager is required to lead discussions with clients regarding contracts and ensure that timelines and associated damages with milestones are clearly highlighted. This role will involve initiating studies on issues identified by the HCM, gathering all necessary supporting documents from various ISHs and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to safeguard the organization's interests.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Office and relevant stakeholders to obtain opinions and insights that will protect the organization's interests effectively. They will be responsible for tracking claims and approvals submitted to clients, ensuring that invoices are processed without delays due to contractual deficiencies, and implementing SOPs for quantities reconciliation.
As part of their role, the Commercial Contract Manager will prepare monthly progress reports as part of contractual obligations, draft initial letters with inputs from site teams, and play a crucial role in MOM preparation by collecting documents for additional work executed and finalizing Minutes of Meetings in consultation with the HCM.
They will also identify long-term opportunities within contracts, both technical and commercial, develop action plans, and implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities promptly. The role will require collaboration with the finance team to prepare invoices and engage in discussions with customers for certification within the contractual framework.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. They must be able to analyze complex contract data, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions to maximize opportunities for the organization's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
