Sales Engineer Role Description

The role of Sales Engineer is a dynamic and challenging position that requires the ability to combine technical expertise with sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data centre and high-density cooling sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Deliver tailored solution presentations and product demonstrations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop technical proposals and ensure solution feasibility.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and report on key metrics.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, cooling technologies, sustainability requirements, and regulatory updates.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing implementation issues quickly and proactively.

For this role, you will need:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A background in HVAC, energy systems, or thermal engineering is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales, technical sales, or a related field.
