Our team is looking for a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Officer to join our community. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

About the Role

The Personal Care Officer is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This includes planning and supervising their daily needs, designing and implementing programs to enhance their quality of life, and maintaining accurate records of their progress.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, as well as overseeing the proper use of equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team will be essential in delivering excellent care and services to our residents.

Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma in any discipline
  • Be willing to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Able to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while performing duties
Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise the care and well-being of residents
  • Design and implement programs and activities to enhance residents' quality of life
  • Maintain monthly interview records for residents
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment within the facility
  • Oversee and maintain the cleanliness of the facility's premises

Work Location

The Welfare Homes provide care for destitute persons, and the work location will be either Bukit Batok, Admiralty Street, or Buangkok Green.

  • Acacia Home is a seven-storey facility with a capacity of 250 beds, catering male destitute persons. The workplace is located at Admiralty Street.
  • Bukit Batok Home for the Aged is a three-storey facility with a capacity of 195 beds, catering male and female destitute persons. The workplace is located at Bukit Batok.
  • Tembusu Home at Pelangi Village is a seven-storey facility with a capacity of 190 beds, catering male destitute persons. The workplace is located at Buangkok Green.
  • Thuja Home at Pelangi Village is a four-storey facility with a capacity of 239 beds, catering to female destitute persons. The workplace is located at Buangkok Green.
